15 NOV - In the Beta Quadrant, the Federation starship USS Buran (NCC-1785) falls through a temporal distortion travelling back 425 years and more than 10,700 light-years from its’ position in unclaimed space. After a thorough search and lengthy investigation by UFP’s Starfleet, the vessel is declared “LOST — PRESUMED DESTROYED” in mid-2296.

After completing its shakedown cruise, the Zel’Koni-class prototype ship is commissioned into URZA service as URS Zel’Koni bearing registry number RSX-1100.
{DATE} - The Union-class URS Kanaris (RSC-351) suffers a warp field imbalance leading to the formation of a wormhole. While transversing the wormhole the crew of the Kanaris force the shutdown of the ship’s primary warp core, dropping the ship out of warp in the Nueva Arizona star system in the Gamma Quadrant, time-displaced to the year 2372 CE.
{DATE} - Following the lack of routine communication from the Kanaris, URZA Starfleet ships search for the Union-class space cruiser without success. By the end of the year, Starfleet declares the vessel “Lost with all hands”.

Bearing registry number RSC-901, the second Tulemaa-class ship is commissioned as URS Viteza in honor of the sidespace research facility and its achievements.

Five months into the cruise RSC-1701 is declared deep-space worthy and warp capable upon reaching Warp 5 during warp flight tests.
U.R.S. Republic returns from its exploratory mission for a one year refit.

8 Penti - The URZA Starfleet commissions the second starship of the Republic-class as U.R.S. Enterprise and places the fifth ship to bear the name under the command of Captain Anthony George D'Ron. Once fully outfitted, Enterprise begins its first, three–year, deep space exploratory mission.
As the refit aboard URS Republic is completed, Starfleet declares the Republic’s experimental phase a success and changes the ship’s registry number from RSX-1700 to RSC-1700. The vessel departs Spacedock to begin a new five year mission of exploration.
Registered as RSC-1702, the third Republic-class vessel is launched from the ZungAlexia IV Shipyards, beginning its’ year-long shakedown.

RSC-1702 achieves Warp 5 during its warp flight tests four and a half months into its one year shakedown cruise. The Republic-class ship is declared deep-space worthy and warp capable.
2 Sena/2 June – For the first time in over 350 years, contact is made with the United Federation of Planets. URS Enterprise (RSC-1701) makes contact with the Federation via USS Mariner (NCC-74915). The ZungAlexians aboard Enterprise encounter Andorians, Bajorans, Betazoids, Denobulans, Humans, and Vulcans aboard Mariner. The two crews and their ships explore an unexplored star system 70 light-years from ZungAlexia. Once completed, Enterprise escorts Mariner to ZungAlexia to meet civilian and military government officials at the invitation of the URZA’s President.
As special guests of the President, the Mariner’s Captain and senior officers witness the commissioning of the third Republic-class starship bearing the registry number RSC-1702 as URS Explorer.
03-14 Ocktub/AUG — The entire HSF betrays the United Republic and assists the old Cornelius Imperials, led by Imperator Zekhar IV, attempting to overthrow the URZA using a fleet of their own starships based on Federation designs led by the IZS Imperium-B. The HSF uses armed, automated aircraft, ground vehicles and com-bots along with the Home Sector space patrol led by URS Protector to attack URZA Starfleet headquarters, civilian government buildings and power stations on ZungAlexia III and IV. Some Imperial Space Force ships are able to enter orbit of ZungAlexia III and ZungAlexia IV. The Imperial ships that orbit ZungAlexia III bombard the city of Nivo and the Zel’Koni Grand Hall. Much of the city is destroyed however; the Grand Hall survives virtually undamaged. Imperial ships orbiting ZungAlexia IV bombard Veronica, the executive capita of the United Republic even as ground combat is occurring. URZA Starfleet is able to resist the overthrow attempt with help from USS Mariner.
