On the same day and authorized by their governments to act, delegates to the DGC sign the Treaty of Coalition which states that seven former Kindaron Supremacy Kelonas, having each declared their independence beforehand, are in a state of war with the Supremacy. The treaty declares that the state of war existed prior to independence of each state and those independent states form a coalition of mutual defense, trade, diplomatic and governmental interests, known as the Coalition of Zungzamia (CoZ). The Coalition is governed by the Coalition Governing Council (CGC) which is created from the Freedom and Justice Movement’s DGC. The treaty establishes the Army of the Coalition of Zungzamia, aka the Coalition Army, and the Navy of the Coalition of Zungzamia, aka the Coalition Navy.

As negotiations continue throughout the year between the Supremacy and the Coalition, the Coalition Governing Council (CGC) makes legislative preparations for the transition from the Coalition of Zungzamia to the Federal Republic of Zungzamia. These preparations are sent to and approved by the legislatures of the independent states. Among these preparations, the CGC requests the Commander of the Coalition Army, Gelera Alexandrus Cornelius Zungzamius to step down from his post so he can be nominated by the CGC for the office of Guardian of the Republic, chief executive of the Republic’s government as described in the Constitution.
