INVASION!!! The Kindaron Supremacy attacks the fledgling Federal Republic of Zungzamia, ushering in the Kindaron War. This page chronicles the events of the first 40 years of the war which lasts from 75 to 115 AF.

1 Septimbrium – After more than 70 years of preparation, the Army of the Kindaron Supremacy crosses the Shi’Took Neutral Zone, breaking the Peace Treaty of Shi’Took signed in 245 AK (1 BAF); beginning the Kindaron War. Despite encountering no resistance, the Supremacy Army cautiously moves through “The Zone”. By the end of the day, one kalimytor of the 2.5 kalimytor-wide “Zone” is in the hands of the Supremacy.
2 Septimbrium - Due to its previously neutral position and location, the once thriving city of Shi'Took falls to the Kindaron Supremacy with no resistance.
3 Septimbrium - With nearly the entire length of the Shi’Took Neutral Zone under its’ control and within range of their flashdust-based field cannons, the Supremacy Army attacks the monitor posts of the Army of the Federal Republic of Zungzamia while small arms (single action muskets and pistols) units move in and attack FRZ Army patrols. By mid-afternoon the entire Shi’Took Neutral Zone is under the control of the Kindaron Supremacy, the Supremacy’s forces invade the Federal Republic proper.
4 Septimbrium - Using their flashdust-based ship mounted cannons, the Supremacy Navy attacks Republic ports closest to the zone, destroying Republic civilian and military ships. Supremacy Navy troops, using flashdust-based small arms, take control of the port towns and within days meet up with invading Supremacy Army troops, securing the ports for the Supremacy.
5 Septimbrium – Various Republic military units engage the Supremacy but are mercilessly slaughtered by their opponents with their flashdust weapons.
7 Septimbrium – Initial reports of the invasion reach Omiris. Over the next five days more reports of the invasion reach the Federal Republic capital.
13 Septimbrium – The Guardian speaks before the National Congress of the Republic at High Sun, urging the representatives to declare War against the Kindaron Supremacy. By Low Sun the National Congress unanimously declares War on the Supremacy, retroactive on 1 Septimbrium.
3-6 Ocktubrium – First Battle of Logicatelé: In the fields outside the city of Logicatelé, the Republic military begins to provide stronger, more organized resistance to the Supremacy during the three-day battle but ultimately lose with extremely heavy casualties due to the Supremacy’s flashdust weapons and at the battle’s conclusion the control of the city is restored to the Supremacy.
As the year wears on, the Republic’s military continues to suffer great losses to the Supremacy’s flashdust weapons at every encounter.

7-9 Senabrium - First Battle of Caston: FRZ city that is taken by the Supremacy.
As Markus Vincentius Kindaron begins his compulsory military service to the Kindaron Supremacy under his assumed name, the Supremacy Army continues to systematically capture large amounts of territory from the Republic. The Republic’s National Army fights valiantly however hundreds of its troops are slaughtered. Despite the losses the National Army is able to capture a number of Supremacy field cannons, small arms, various amounts of flashdust, and other materials related to the Supremacy’s weapons.

24-25 Septimbrium - First Battle of Lisgo: FRZ Army units are slaughtered by the Supremacy.
Despite the lopsided victory at Lisgo, the Supremacy Army is forced to slow its advance due to supply issues.

Olkimsts throughout the Republic conduct experiments using the small amounts of flashdust given to them by the military to duplicate the Supremacy's flashdust. Republic weapons builders spend much of their time dismantling and rebuilding the captured weapons to learn how to build their own versions.

18-26 Ainlifium – Battle of Hitavisichi Bay: The navies of the Supremacy and Republic clash in the waters near the Republic port town of Hitavisichi. Seven Supremacy ships are sunk however 98% of the entire Republic Navy is destroyed with only eight Republic ships escaping under the cover of night. Following the escape of the FRZ ships, the Supremacy Navy bombs the port town of Hitavisichi for three days then lands naval troops; capturing the town two days later.

14-15 Ocktubrium - First Battle of Welgan: Kindaron Supremacy victory.
The original Capillus group and several dozen telepathic and telekinetic villagers formally establish the Sacred Order of Zel’Koni. As they establish the order, the order’s governing council, the Grand Assembly, is created with 15 members led by the Master of the Grand Assembly.

30 Tetribrium-6 Pentibrium – First Battle of Jeantai: Republic ground forces are crushed by the Supremacy. Survivors of the battle from the FRZ army that surrender are executed by the Supremacy.

17-31 Pentibrium – First Battle of Nivo: Refusing to let the birthplace of Alexandrus Zungzamius fall to the Kindaron Supremacy, Republic forces fight to the last man defending the city against overwhelming Supremacy arms and numbers with the last of the Republic’s forces perishing within the walls of the garrison. As victory is secured, the Kindaron Supremacy begins its occupation of Nivo.
3-8 Senabrium – First Battle of Genth: The former Supremacy city is attacked and captured by the Supremacy Army after five intense days of combat. The Supremacy occupiers restore the city’s Supremacy name, Citium Audracal.
Many olkimsts in the Republic are able to duplicate the various formulas of flashdust used by the Supremacy. In cooperation with the olkimsts, the Republic’s weapons builders begin building and testing their own flashdust-based weapons.

28 Tetribrium–1 Pentibrium – First Battle of Panavisio: Republic defeat
29 Septimbrium-8 Ocktubrium – Battle of Laco: The armies of the Supremacy and the Federal Republic fight for eleven days in Cardia’s capital city. By low sun of the eleventh day, the Supremacy defeats the FRZ with much of the city in ruin.
6-13 Ocktubrium – The Exodus of the Government: The National Congress decides to recess the current session and reconvene in Kuvot, the capital of Vygeroa in sixty days; furthermore, Congress orders the citizen-leader (mayor) of the Vabadusa Rajons to evacuate the citizens of Omiris as quickly and orderly as possible. The Guardian of the Republic issues a ‘Guardian’s Order’ ordering all executive departments of the government except the Department of War to evacuate to Kuvot and resume duties and operations there. Also, the Magistrates of the Supreme Court of the Republic recess the current court session and follow the National Congress to Kuvot.
As Commander-in-Chief of the Republic Army and Navy, the Guardian elects to stay in Omiris and take command of the Republic forces defending the city. He gives a written declaration to the Deputy Guardian that is to be given to the Speaker of Congress stating that if he, the Guardian, does not arrive in Kuvot seventy days, the powers and duties of the office of Guardian are to be invested in the Deputy Guardian as the Acting Guardian of the Republic.
15 Ocktubrium-5 Ainlifium – Siege of Omiris: The forces of the Kindaron Supremacy lay siege to the city with a nearly continuous 80 day and night artillery bombardment of the city’s ancient walls. During the bombardment three separate engagements between Supremacy and Republic forces take place in the National Cemetery, referred as “the Cemetery Raids”. During these engagements, Republic forces are able to capture various amounts of flashdust and flashdust weapons but gain no ground within the cemetery. The city’s defenders quickly learn to use these weapons but their commanders including the Guardian, know that more are needed.
1 Decimbrium – As the Siege of Omiris continues, the National Congress reconvenes in Kuvot, the capital city of the state of Vygeroa.
5 Ainlifium-31 Twalifium – Battle of Omiris: With the city’s walls in ruins, Supremacy soldiers enter the city. It’s defenders abandon traditional tactics, favoring hit-and-run and other guerilla tactics. Throughout the months, combat takes place street by street, building by building and in many instances in the city’s sewer and tunnel system. More Supremacy flashdust weapons are captured and some are even smuggled out of the city.

1 Ianarum-5 Pentibrium – Battle of Omiris: As the New Year begins; the battle for the city continues between the Supremacy and the FRZ. Supremacy ground forces capture The Guardian's House by the end of Trebrium. The final assault occurs at the Capitol building between 27 Tetribrium and 5 Pentibrium when the last of the city’s defenders, including the Guardian of the Republic, die in the Congressional Chamber.
14-26 Trebrium – First Battle of Yerem: Following a 12-day siege of the capital of the state of Selil, the forces of the Supremacy slaughter the city’s National Army defenders, capturing the city.
6 Pentibrium – Defeating the Federal Republic of Zungzamia at its’ capital, the Kindaron Supremacy begins establishing its control over the few remaining citizens of the city.
17 Pentibrium – The FRZ government in Kuvot receives a written demand from the Kindaron Supremacy for the immediate surrender of the remaining leadership of the “Omiris Rebellion” and learns through the demand that Omiris has fallen to the Supremacy and the Guardian is dead. The Acting Guardian is officially sworn in and the Guardian of the Republic.

As more of the Federal Republic’s National Army begins to use their own flashdust weapons in battles across the Republic against the Kindaron Supremacy. Within six months of their Republic introduction onto the battlefield, The National Army is able to halt the advance of the Supremacy. Over the next few years the Republic’s military is able to push the Supremacy back.

14 Trebrium-22 Tetribrium – Second Battle of Yerem: Republic forces attempt to remove the Supremacy from Yerem the combat leads to a stalemate and a siege.
14 Senabrium-4 Septimbrium – Battle of Emzel: The Zungzamian Army troops defend the small city six kalimytors from Kuvot with heavay casualties.
7 Septimbrium-3 Ocktubrium – Battle of Kuvot: The Kindaron Supremacy Army flanks Zungzamian troops at Emzel and attacks “temporary” capitol of the Republic. During the nearly month-long battle, Supremacy forces enter the city three separate times, but Republic troops successfully push them out each time. Also, during the battle Zungzamian troops from Emzel attack the rear of the Kindaron forces. Heavy causalties (on both sides) and a lack of munitions forces the Supremacy to withdraw, resulting in a Zungzamian victory.
15 Ocktubrium-9 Novimbrium – Third Battle of Yerem: Following four months under a siege, Supremacy forces attack Republic positions but are defeated and the city returns to Zungzamian control.

25-27 Senabrium – Battle of Natochi: Supremacy naval forces are decimated by the Republic Navy and coastal defenses surrounding the Casadamite coastal town in the Supremacy’s attempt to attack Casadamus’ state capital city of Yerkut, indirectly from the sea.
7 Septimbrium-15 Ocktubrium – Battle of Yerkut: In the state capital of Casadamus, Republic forces are able to defend the city Supremacy ground forces even though the defenders are outnumbered 4 to 1.
Under his assumed name, Markus Vincentius Kindaron becomes a Kindaron Supremacy Army officer.

3-9 Senabrium - Second Battle of Panavisio: Successful diversionary attack by the FRZ that draws Supremacy forces away from Laco and Omiris.
6-15 Senabrium – Battle of Midanos: The Republic executes a successful 12-day diversionary attack in the small town of Midanos that draws Supremacy forces away from Laco and Omiris.
10-21 Senabrium – Second Battle of Laco: In the early hours of the fourth day of the Battle of Midanos; a Republic force attacks the Supremacy force twice its size in Laco. Six days into the battle, Republic units from Midanos arrive; reinforcing Republic forces in Laco. The reinforcements lead to a Republic victory during the eleventh day of the battle.
23 Senabrium-11 Novimbrium – Second Battle of Omiris: Republic units involved in the Battles of Laco, Midanos, and Panavisio along with numerous others engage the Supremacy in Omiris. The Republic’s forces use guerilla tactics along with artillery bombardment. Having weak defenses and few troops to defend the conquered city, Supremacy forces surrender after the death of their commander. Eleven years of occupation by the Kindaron Supremacy of the Republic capital ends.

6-13 Ocktubrium – The government of the Federal Republic of Zungzamia returns to Omiris after 12 years in exile in Kuvot. After the government's return, refugee citizens of the District of Freedom slowly begin to return to what is left of their home.

Despite much of its territory under the control of the Kindaron Supremacy and the capital city seriously damaged, the Federal Republic of Zungzamia celebrates 100 years of independence.
While Markus Vincentius Kindaron is on leave from Supremacy Army service, his lifemate gives birth to their son, Cornelius Markus Kindaron. Besides his real birth name, he is given an assumed name to hide his family lineage.

15 Trebrium-7 Tetribrium – Second Battle of Genth/Citium Audracal: Known to the Kindaron Supremacy as Citium Audracal, FRZ National Army units attack the Supremacy positions in Genth as a diversion; attempting to draw Supremacy forces away from the city of Nivo. Successfully drawing Supremacy forces away; Republic forces are able to defeat the Supremacy forces at Genth and the reinforcements from Nivo.
25 Trebrium-12 Tetribrium – Second Battle of Nivo: The forces of the Republic and the Supremacy battle in the farmlands and within the ancient city. At the end of the 19-day campaign the city is re-taken by the FRZ, ending 17 years of Supremacy occupation.
11-15 Tetribrium – Second Battle of Jeantai: FRZ and the Supremacy forces face off in the city of Jeantai 19 years after the city’s loss to the Supremacy. The Republic is able to devastate the forces of the Supremacy, re-taking the city.

11-23 Twalifium – Third Battle of Jeantai: Under the impression that a small Republic force is defending the city, the Supremacy attacks in an attempt to put Jeantai back under Supremacy control. The Supremacy’s advantage is a mere 200 soldiers and the battle results in the near annihilation of both sides but the city remains in FRZ hands.

11-23 Senabrium – Third Battle of Welgan: Based scouting reports of enemy positions and strengths, the FRZ Army attacks the Kindaron Army at Welgan attempting to re-take the city, under the impression that there is only a small Supremacy force is occupying the city. In reality, the Republic’s advantage is a mere 700 soldiers and the battle results in the near annihilation of both sides but the city is returns to FRZ hands.

12-22 Febrium – Third Battle of Nivo: With a force of over 200,000, the Supremacy attacks Nivo in an attempt to take the city from the Republic. Outnumbered 10 to 1, FRZ forces are not only able to defend the city but cause catastrophic casualties to the Supremacy: for every one Republic soldier killed or wounded 40 Supremacy soldiers would be killed or wounded with Republic forces suffering 4,500 casualties.

12-15 Senabrium – Second Battle of Logicatelé: Republic forces attack Supremacy forces in Logicatelé in an attempt to re-take the town. The Republic inflicts heavy losses on the Supremacy however the Supremacy holds onto the town.
2-7 Ocktubrium – Third Battle of Logicatelé: In a five-day battle, Zungzamia ground forces make another attempt to re-take Logicatelé from the Kindaron Supremacy. They successfully drive the Supremacy out of the city, reclaiming it for the Federal Republic of Zungzamia after 35 years of brutal Supremacy control.

1-15 Septimbrium – Second Battle of Shi’Took: Following a seven-week campaign to take the lands that were once in the Shi’Took Neutral Zone, the Republic and Supremacy militaries face off in a two-week battle for the “neutral” city resulting in the Republic gaining control of Shi’Took.

6-7 Septimbrium – Third Battle of Shi’Took: Breaking through the Republic's makeshift defense of the city within hours, FRZ soldiers are slaughtered and by the end of the second day, Shi’Took is back under Supremacy control. A young Republic Lieuan named Zekhar Cassius captured by the Supremacy is allowed to leave the city unmolested with a message to his commanders however, prior to his departure he is forced to witness the execution of the remainder of the men under his command.
6-9 Decimbrium – Fourth Battle of Shi’Took: Republic forces attack Shi’Took in a successful attempt to re-take the city. During the fighting the Supremacy commander is killed by Republic Lieuan Zekhar Cassius. The Supremacy’s forces surrender, expecting to be executed just like they did to the Republic forces defending the city earlier in the year. However, this does not occur; the surviving Supremacy soldiers are taken prisoner and treated respectfully.
