2305:   Jean-Luc Picard is born.

2311:   The Tomed Incident.  Treaty of Algeron is signed between the Federation and the Romulan Empire. The Romulans enter an extended period of isolation that lasts until 2364.

2324:   Beverly Howard (Crusher) is born.

2327:   Jean-Luc Picard graduates from Starfleet Academy.

2328:   Cardassian Union annexes Bajor.

2332:   Benjamin Sisko is born on Earth.

2333:   Jean-Luc Picard assumes command of the USS Stargazer.

2335:   William T. Riker is born in Valdez, Alaska on Earth.

2336:   Deanna Troi is born on Betazed.

2337:   Natasha Yar is born on Turkana IV.

2338:   Data is discovered on Omicron Theta.

2340:   Worf is born on the Qo'noS.

2341:   Jadzia is born on Trill. Julian Bashir is born.

2343:   Kira Nerys is born Bajor.

2344:   Starship Enterprise-C is destroyed at Narendra III.

2345:   Starfleet Command approves of the Galaxy Class Development Project.

2346:   Worf's parents are killed by Romulans at the Khitomer massacre.  Worf is adopted by a human Starfleet officer, Sergey Rozhenko.

2349:   Harry Kim is born.

2353:   Chakotay enters Starfleet Academy.

2355:   USS Stargazer is nearly destroyed at the Battle of Maxia. Jake Sisko, son of Benjamin Sisko, is born.

2357:   William T. Riker graduates from Starfleet Academy. His first assignment is the ill-fated USS Pegasus.

2358:   The Galaxy Class prototype, USS Galaxy is launched from Utopia Planetia Yards in Mars orbit. It is registered as NX-70637.

2361:   Now aboard the Starship Potemkin, Riker participates in a rescue mission at Nervala IV. A transporter malfunction creates an exact duplicate of Riker, trapped on the planet.

2363:  USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-D, is launched. The Galaxy class vessel is the fifth starship to bear the name.

2364:   (TNG1) Jean-Luc Picard takes command of Enterprise-D with Riker as the ship's executive officer. First contact with Q. First known contact with the Ferengi. Natasha Yar, serving as tactical officer and Security Chief aboard Enterprise-D, is killed on Vagra II.

2365:   (TNG2) Dr. Katherine Pulaski serves as Chief Medical Officer aboard Enterprise-D. First known contact with the Borg.

2366:   (TNG3) Enterprise-C briefly enters this time from the past. Worf, serving as tactical officer and Security Chief, accepts discommendation for acts his late father did not commit against the Klingon Empire. Captain Picard is captured by the Borg and is altered to become Locutus of Borg. Riker is field promoted to Captain of Enterprise-D.

2367:   (TNG4) Thirty-nine starships are destroyed by the Borg in the Battle of Wolf 359. Jean-Luc Picard is retrieved from the Borg and returns to Enterprise as Captain. Riker reverts to Commander and XO of the ship. Alexander Rozhenko, son of Worf and K'Ehleyr, is born. Wesley Crusher, son of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Beverly Crusher, is accepted to Starfleet Academy. Jean-Luc Picard serves as arbiter of succession to determine the new leader (chancellor) of the Klingon High Council.

2368:   (TNG5) The Duras family attempts to seize control of the Klingon High Council, plunging the empire into a brief civil war. Ambassador Spock is sighted on Romulus, supporting reunification of the Romulan and Vulcan people. Ambassador Sarek of Vulcan dies at age 203 of Bendii Syndrome. Wesley Crusher admits to participating in a cover-up of a fatal accident at Starfleet Academy and is held back for a year.

2369:   (TNG6/DSN1) Captain Montgomery Scott is discovered alive, suspended in a transporter beam aboard USS Jenolen. Cardassians withdraw claim to Bajor. Starfleet assumes control of station Terok Nor (renamed Deep Space 9) at the request of the Bajoran provisional government. Lt. Cmdr. Benjamin Sisko is promoted and assigned to command Deep Space 9. First stable wormhole discovered near planet Bajor. Bajoran religious leader Kai Opaka is killed in the Gamma Quadrant, triggering a power struggle to determine her successor.

2370:   (TNG7/DSN2) A religious extremist group called the Circle attempts to overthrow the Bajoran provisional government. A clone of the legendary Kahless the Unforgettable is ruled the rightful heir to the throne, becoming the new emperor of the Klingon Empire. Wesley Crusher resigns from Starfleet Academy to go off with the Traveler to explore other dimensions. Humanity survives annihilation in a test devised by Q to determine if the human mind can encompass new ideas. Dominion invasion of the Alpha Quadrant feared.

2371:   (DSN3/VGR1/STG) Starship Defiant, NX-74205, is assigned to Deep Space Nine. The recently commissioned Intrepid class USS Voyager, NCC-74656, is lost in the Badlands region of the Alpha Quadrant. Legendary captain James T. Kirk emerges from the nexus and is killed on Veridian III. Starship Enterprise-D is destroyed at Veridian III. Deep Space Nine commander Benjamin Sisko is promoted to Captain.

2372:   (DSN4/VGR2) Amelia Earhart is discovered alive in the Delta Quadrant. Chancellor Gowron of the Klingon Empire dissolves the Khitomer Accords. The Klingon Empire attacks the Cardassian Union. Lt. Commander Worf is assigned to Deep Space Nine. Tom Paris of the Starship Voyager becomes the first human to break the Transwarp Barrier. The Sovereign class starship USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-E, is launched under the command of Jean-Luc Picard.

2373:   (DSN5/VGR3/STFC) Voyager leaves Kazon space, entering the Nekrit Expanse, encountering the Borg Collective. Kes evolves into the next level of Ocampa existence. Cardassian Union forms alliance with the Dominion, threatening the stability of the Alpha Quadrant. Khitomer Accords between the Federation and the Klingon Empire are reestablished. Starship Enterprise-E helps repel major Borg invasion of the Sol sector. The Romulan Empire and Bajor sign Non-Aggression Treaties with the Dominion. In order to prevent more Dominion ships from entering the Alpha Quadrant, Deep Space 9's crew develops self-replicating mines and places them at the entrance to the wormhole. Dominion forces attack Deep Space 9, which surrenders and Starfleet personnel evacuate the station.

2374:   (DSN6/VGR4) The Federation is embroiled in large-scale war with the Dominion. After heavy losses, Starfleet regains control of Deep Space 9 from the Dominion. Worf marries Jadzia Dax, who is later killed by Cardassian Gul Dukat. Voyager is threaten by Species 8472. Former Borg drone Seven of Nine joins the Voyager crew. Voyager succeeds in contacting Starfleet Command through the use of a Hirogen relay system, making authorities aware for the first time that Voyager and its crew is alive and well in the Delta Quadrant. After the assisination of a powerful government leader, the Romulan Empire abandons its Non-Aggression Treaty with the Dominion, joining the war with the Federation and the Klingon Empire.

2375:   (DSN7/VGR5/STI) The crew of Starship Voyager build a new shuttlecraft called the Delta Flyer. Ezri Dax becomes the latest host of the Dax symbiont. Dominion War ends as Odo returns to the Great Link. Benjamin Sisko leaves the linear realm and becomes one of the Bajoran Prophets. Colonel Kira Nerys assumes command of Deep Space 9 as Rom becomes the next Grand Negus of the Ferengi Alliance. Lt. Commander Worf becomes the Federation Ambassador to the Klingon Empire. Starship Enterprise-E prevents an attempt to illegally relocate inhabitants of the Ba'ku planet.

2376:   (VGR6) Starfleet Command makes direct contact with Starship Voyager in the Delta Quadrant. While at Jupiter Station in the Sol Sector, the holomatrix of Voyager's Emergency Medical Hologram becomes unstable. His creator, Dr. Lewis Zimmerman, repairs the holomatrix. Unimatrix Zero, a virtual reality within the Borg Collective, is discovered by Seven of Nine. Voyager's crew begins to assist Borg drones, who can access Unimatrix Zero, attempting free them from the Collective. The Delta Flyer is destroyed by the Borg prior to Capt. Janeway, Chief Engineer Torres, and Lt. Commander Tuvok being assimilated by them.

2377:   (VGR7) Janeway, Torres, and Tuvok are retrieved by Voyager, Unimatrix Zero is shut down. Lt. Tom Paris and Chief Engineer Torres marry, after having completed in an interstellar race with the new Delta Flyer. With the assistance of an Admiral Janeway from a "possible" future, Starship Voyager successfully returns to the Alpha Quadrant, through a Borg Transwarp Conduit, after spending nearly 7 years in the Delta Quadrant.

2379:   (STN) A change in government takes on Romulus. Enterprise crewmembers Commander William T. Riker and Counselor Deanna Troi marry on Earth. A predecessor of Lt. Commander Data, known as B-4, is found on Kolarus III. Enterprise is sent to Romulus under the notion of peace, but the ship's crew discover that the new leader of Romulus; Shinzon, is a clone of Captain Picard and wants to cripple the Federation by destroying Earth.  A battle ensues to prevent this atrocity, between Shinzon's ship, the Scimitar, and Enterprise with help from the Romulans; resulting in the destruction of the Scimitar and a Romulan vessel and severe damage to Enterprise and another Romulan ship.  Lt. Commander Data is killed during the battle.  Enterprise returns to Earth for repairs and Riker is promoted to Captain. He and Counselor Troi depart Enterprise for their new starship home, the USS Titan.
