2103:   Earth Cargo Ship (ECS) Horizon is commissioned.  

2113:   A united government is established on Earth.

2119:   The Warp 5 Complex is opened by Zefram Cochrane and Henry Archer.  Zefram Cochrane later disappears and is believed dead.

Late 2120s/Early 2130s:   Earth establishes a space exploration and defense organization called "Starfleet".

2149:   Travis Mayweather leaves his home, the ECS Horizon, to join Starfleet.

2151:   (ENT1) Earth makes first contact with Klingons when one of their species crashes on Earth. Earth's Starfleet launches its' first space vessel capable of Warp 5. Registered as NX-01, the ship bears the name, Enterprise. The vessel is is placed under the command of by Jonathan Archer, son of Henry Archer, the inventor of the Warp 5 engine. Through Starship Enterprise and its' crew, Earth makes first contact with the Suliban who are pursuing the Klingon that crashed on Earth.  Later in the year, first contact is made with the Andorians.

2152:   (ENT1) First contact is made with the Tandarans, Kreetassans, Mazarites.  On February 8 of this year, Enterprise achieves the designed speed of Warp 5.  Enterprise arrives at (planet name here) to visit the Paraagan colony. As a shuttle pod from Enterprise descends to the surface, the planet's atmosphere is ignited, leading to the death of 3600 colonists. With the help of a former, time-traveling, Enterprise crewmember named Daniels, it is later determined that the Suliban are behind the destruction of the colony. To prevent the destruction of his ship by the Suliban, Captain Archer decides to surrender, but disappears aboard his ship while heading to the airlock.
              (ENT2) Enterprise is captured by the Suliban, but later escapes by faking a Warp Core breach. Captain Archer also returns to the ship. Enterprise suffers a severe hull breach when it makes contact with cloaked minefield. The minefield belongs to the Romulans, which a very unfriendly first contact is made. Five days later, Enterprise enters an automated repair facility, which repairs the damage in about a day and a half. Enterprise transports Vulcan Ambassador Soval to a small planet that is under dispute between the Vulcans and the Andorians. Captain Archer serves as a mediator for the initial talks. Late in the year, Captain Archer is placed on trail by the Klingon Empire for interfering in internal affairs of the empire.   He is sentenced to spend the rest of his life at Rura Pethe, but is rescued by his crew as certain Klingon bureaucrats "looked the other way".

2153:   (ENT2)  Earth is attacked by probe of unknown origin, suffering 7 million causalties. Enterprise is recalled by Starfleet. En route to Earth, Enterprise's crew is made aware of the origin of the attacking probe through the Suliban. After being retrofitted Starfleet sends Enterprise out to the Delphic Expanse to find the Kindto prevent a possible second attack on Earth.

2156:   War begins between Earth and the Romulan Star Empire.

2160:   Romulan Wars ended by the Battle of Cheron.  The Romulan Neutral Zone is established.

2161:   The United Federation of Planets is incorporated.  The Federation's Starfleet is established with a charter "to boldly go where no man has gone before".

2167:   Daedalus-class starship U.S.S. Essex destroyed at Mab-Bu VI.

2165:   Sarek of Vulcan is born.

2196:   Starfleet retires the Daedalus-class starships.
