640 BCE (45 BAF): After being tortured and imprisoned for about six months, Quartarius is marched back to Omiris,
escorted by the Rekerus father and son, their personal guards and half of the Nivo Garrison.
19 Tetribrium – Upon arrival in Omiris, Rekerus troops forcefully gather the citizens of Omiris in
the city square who witness the execution of Governor Quartarius. They also witness the installation of their new
governor, the nephew of Antonius Rekerus, Cassius Georgius Rekerus at the age of 70. The Rekerus father and son,
their personal guard and most of the Nivo Garrison detachment depart, with some officers remaining to oversee the
Omiris Garrison.
Despite the execution of Quartarius, Alexandrus remains the deputy governor however; his role in
the government is severely limited. He orders the FJM to go further “underground” to avoid capture of any of its
members as he protests many of Cassius’ orders and, at year’s end, is dismissed from his position.
639-636 BCE (44-41 BAF): Conditions for the citizens of Cardos Regimite worsen as time passes. Initially, citizens are arrested without cause and unreasonable searches are conducted. Soldiers and officers loyal to the Regime beat and murder citizens in the open. To combat this ongoing tragedy; under Alexandrus’ leadership and that of his family’s, the FJM create and refine plans to overthrow the governor. Military friends and allies of Alexandrus that are retired or active-duty, willingly volunteer their allegiance to him and the FJM. Members of other FJM groups from outside Cardos Regimite come into the area and provide assistance in planning and acquiring supplies.
635 BCE (40 BAF): The plan to the overthrow the Regime’s military government of Cardos is perfected with the
final elements put into place.
19 Tetribrium – Five years after the execution of Quartarius, the FJM implements their operation
formally known as “Operation Nullify”.
22 Tetribrium – Seventy-two hours after it began, Operation Nullify successfully ends unfortunately
51 are dead, 189 are injured and moderate property damage is sustained. Cassius Rekerus and his senior-most
officers, mostly those originally from the Nivo Garrison, are captured, however, a Nivo Garrison officer and four
soldiers escape. Unbeknownst to the victors at the time, the success of the operation would mark the beginning of the
“Zungzamian Revolution”. Word of the operation’s success spreads quickly to other regimites, particularly to those
east and south of Cardos where the FJM has a large presence.
Inspired by the victory in Cardos Regimite, FJM groups in neighboring regimites, along with other
anti-Regime citizens begin to rise up against the Regime. The uprisings are supported by portions of the military in
varying degrees in all five regimites neighboring Cardos. They are met with extreme violence from the parts of the
military that remain loyal to the Regime. Despite the efforts of loyal Regime troops to suppress the uprisings, in
three of the neighboring provinces the uprisings turn into outright, organized rebellions.
The escaped officer and soldiers reach Nivo and inform Brutus of the overthrow, which Brutus
initially disbelieves but eventually sends specially-trained soldiers to investigate the matter.
Alexandrus selects 15 members of the FJM from Cardos and other neighboring areas, who are present,
to form the FJM’s Developing Government Council or DGC. Initially, the council’s only task is to create a government
framework, including a written, governing document, around the principles of the FJM.
6-20 Twalifium – The Cassius Rekerus Trail: Cassius and his officers are given a fair, yet
military, judicial proceeding. They are found guilty and are sentenced to exile from Omiris and Cardos Regimite. They
are told that if they enter Cardos Regimite ever again they will be executed. Alexandrus gives Cassius a letter for
the Ruler of the Regime and his Regime military uniform. The letter states his position on the Regime and that it
must change in order to survive. The exiled are escorted to the border of neighboring provinces and sentence is
carried out as the exiles cross the border. A pair of the specially-trained soldiers from the Nivo Garrison, who had
infiltrated Cardos Regimite and witnessed his trial in Omiris, intercept and escort Cassius back to Nivo.
634 BCE (39 BAF): Learning directly from his cousin of the overthrow, Brutus personally beats and imprisons him
for his failure. He sends word to his father, Antonius, about the situation and requests permission to invade Cardos
to restore the rule of the Regime. Without waiting, Brutus plans with his senior military officers the invasion of
Cardos Regimite.
Two weeks prior to the execution of “Operation Restoration”, Brutus gets a response from his father
in the form of four garrisons of troops from Citium Rekerus, the capital of the Regime, led by his uncle General
Georgius Paulus Rekerus. Along with the troops, Antonius issues written orders commanding his son to combine the Nivo
garrison troops with those of his uncle and serve as second-in-command of the 24,750 troops. General Rekerus and his
nephew Brutus move then hold their troops at the Audracalian border town of Jeantai for 60 days to await the arrival
of troops from other regime provinces.
5 Pentibrium – Antonius declares that Cardos Regimite and its’ five neighboring regimites “in
rebellion”. To put down the “Omiris Rebellion”, Antonius orders all military-governors to send all available troops
to Jeantai, circumventing Cardos if necessary, to be commanded by his brother Georgius and his son Brutus. In the
intervening 60 days the number of troops under General Rekerus’ command rises to 74,250.
In response to Antonius’ declaration and the threat posed by the Regime forces under the General’s
command; Alexandrus & his military allies, the entire former Rekerus Regime provincial garrison in Omiris and
large numbers of eager civilians create the Cardosian Militia. The militia makes preparations for the invasion of the
regimite.
10 Septimbrium – Sixty-five days after arriving in Jeantai, General Rekerus orders his troops to
invade Cardos, march toward Omiris and destroy any resistance encountered. As the army marches to Omiris, the Militia
uses the hit-and-run tactics pioneered by the Cardia Raiders 40 years earlier. The Militia is able to whittle down
the number of troops in General Rekerus’ army by a very small amount before they arrive at Omiris 17 days later.
1-5 Ocktubrium – The Battle of Omiris: Beginning at midday on the first day of the month and
lasting for four days the Militia initially inflicts heavy losses on the Regime army but is forced back behind the
city walls of Omiris. The forces under General Rekerus’ command begin laying siege to Omiris, which lasts for four
weeks. During the siege, messages are secretly sent to and received from other rebelling regimites.
3 Novimbrium – The Regime forces break through the city’s walls at dawn and invade the city.
However by mid-afternoon of the same day, militia units from Hitmilisium, a neighboring regimite that is also
rebelling against the Regime, arrive and attack Regime units inside and outside the city walls of Omiris.
5 Novimbrium – By dawn the city is secure from the forces of the Regime, which retreat to the
outskirts of the neighboring town called Laco.
7-9 Novimbrium – The Battle of Laco: The combined Cardosian and Hitmilisium Militias attack the
Regime troops initially outside Laco but eventually inside the town, winning the battle with minimal casualties
amongst them but heavy losses to the Regime.
Through the end of the year, Militias from all of the rebelling regimites make great strides in
pushing Regime troops out of the regimites.
633 BCE (38 BAF): 10-16 Pentibrium – Battle of Panavisio: Regime forces and those of the rebellion clash in the Cardosian city of Panavisio exactly 50 years after the battle between the Regime and the Kingdom of Cardia in the same city. In this battle however, Georgius Paulus Rekerus, commander of the Regime forces in Cardos Regimite, is killed during the battle and his second, Regime Military Governor of Audracal, Brutus Rekerus is forced to withdraw; leading to a humiliating defeat.
633-631 BCE (38-36 BAF): Each of the rebelling regimites develops governments based on the principles of the local FJM, which are based on those developed by Alexandrus and over time declare independence. The Regimites of Cardos and Hitmilisium are the first to declare their independence and alter their names to the States of Cardia and Bivoria, respectfully. As the regimites continue to declare independence; the regimites’/states’ delegates to FJM’s DGC begin work on creating an alliance for mutual defense and other interests.
630 BCE (35 BAF): By the end of Trebrium, the last rebelling regimite declares independence from the Rekerus
Regime and alters its’ name to the State of Vygeroa.
9 Tetribrium – Antonius dies at the age of 140. Brutus, his eldest son and Governor of Audracal
Regimite, assumes the lands and titles of his father, becoming the fifth ruler of the Rekerus Regime at the age of
98. His son, Aretus Brutus, replaces his father as Governor of Audracal at the age of 48.
4 Septimbrium – In the presence of their fellow delegates, the entire delegation from Audracal to
the Developing Government Council (DGC) signs the Declaration of Independence of the State of Zungzamia. The document
announces that the Rekerus Regime Regimite of Audracal separates all political, economic and cultural connections
with the Rekerus Regime thus declaring its’ independence as the State of Zungzamia and, against the will of that
state, is occupied by the military forces of the Rekerus Regime with its government in exile. On the same day,
authorized by their governments to act, delegates to the DGC sign the Treaty of Coalition which states that seven
former Rekerus Regime Regimites, having each declared their independence previously, are at a state of war with the
Rekerus Regime. The treaty declares that the state of war between the individual states and the Regime existed prior
to independence of each state and those independent states form a coalition of mutual defense, trade diplomatic and
governmental interests, known as the Coalition of Zungzamia (COZ). The Coalition is governed by the Coalition
Governing Council (CGC) which is created from the Freedom and Justice Movement’s DGC. The treaty establishes that for
the mutual defense of the states and thus the Coalition on land and at sea, the militias of the states will form the
Army of the Coalition of Zungzamia, aka the Coalition Army, and a sea-faring fighting force of any and all ships from
the states will form the Navy of the Coalition of Zungzamia, aka the Coalition Navy.
14-17 Ocktubrium – First Battle of Jeantai: Forces of the Coalition and the Regime engage in battle
in the city of Jeantai. Although they are evenly matched, Coalition forces rout the Regime and capture the city
during three days of combat.
3 Novimbrium – To focus the efforts of governing the Coalition and overseeing the Revolution, the
Coalition Governing Council creates a committee of 15 delegates to assume the original role of the DGC in drafting a
single, written document to govern a new nation that will be created at the end of the Revolution. The committee is
officially known as the Document Committee, but is often called the “Committee of 15”.
629 BCE (28 BAF): {DATE} – Second Battle of Jeantai: The Regime defeats the Coalition after (4 to 6 days) of combat reclaiming the city of Jeantai.
626 BCE (31 BAF): 14-29 Ocktubrium – Third Battle of Jeantai: On the anniversary of the first battle the forces of the Coalition and the Regime engage in battle in the city of Jeantai for the third time. Although the Coalition is outnumbered three to one, Coalition forces rout the Regime and re-capture the city during a fifteen day campaign.
625 BCE (30 BAF): After more than five years of work, the “Committee of 15” presents to the CGC the initial draft of the “Constitution of Zungzamia”.
622 BCE (27 BAF): The Coalition Navy scores a major victory over the Navy of the Regime by sinking two sloops-of-war and capturing a ship of the line.
619 BCE (24 BAF): 9-29 Twalifium – Fourth Battle of Jeantai. Regime forces outnumber the Coalition defenders at Jeantai 7 to 1 destroying the entire Coalition force. However, 28,000 of the 35,000 Regime troops fighting in the 20 day battle are killed and another 6,300 wounded.
618 BCE (23 BAF): 20-25 Ianuarum – Fifth Battle of Jeantai. 8,400 Coalition troops attack the remaining Regime forces in Jeantai. Four and a half days into the battle the Regime commander surrenders with nearly 85 percent casualties.
615 BCE (20 BAF [300 AR]): Despite the ongoing rebellion, the Rekerus Regime celebrates 300 years of existence. During the past ten years, the Committee of 15 has continued their work and presents to the CGC a second draft of the “Constitution of Zungzamia”. The CGC discuss and debate the draft document for more than five months then send it back to the committee with numerous suggested revisions and comments.
607 BCE (12 BAF): {DATES} – Battle of Citium Audracal: In the fields outside the city once known as Genth, the military forces of the Coalition and the Regime engage in combat.
606 BCE (11 BAF): 6-18 Senabrium – First Battle of Nivo: Initial hostilities take place outside the city between
Regime forces led by Regimital Governor Aretus Brutus Rekerus and Coalition forces led by Alexandrus Cornelius
Zungzamius; resulting in moderate losses for both forces however, the battle pushes Regime troops back behind city
walls of Nivo. Coalition forces are able to surround most of the city however, the River Jant and some of the terrain
allow for some supplies and reinforcements to get into Nivo.
19 Senabrium – 31 Twalifium – First Siege of Nivo: Numerous skirmishes take place as Coalition
forces successfully intercept large amounts of supplies and reinforcements heading to Nivo. Despite the
interceptions, Nivo continues to be resupplied and reinforced.
605 BCE (10 BAF): 1 Ianuarum-11 Febrium – First Siege of Nivo: As the siege continues, the numerous skirmishes
taking place between Regime and Coalition forces who continue to successfully intercept large amounts of supplies and
reinforcements heading to Nivo. Despite the interference from the Coalition, Nivo continues to be resupplied and
reinforced.
12-22 Febrium – Second Battle of Nivo: Coalition forces cross the River Jant upstream and
downstream from Nivo, going around the city’s flanks. Realizing what is going on, Governor A. B. Rekerus has the
Regime forces under his command attack Coalition forces. The multiple attacks fail and supply lines are completely
severed by Coalition forces who completely surround the city and its’ garrison.
23 Febrium-10 Twalifium – Second Siege of Nivo: As the realization sets in that there will be no
more supplies, the Governor orders that a count be taken and sets limits on what supplies and how much of them can be
used or consumed.
11-26 Twalifium – Third Battle of Nivo: Regime forces under the Governor’s command break out of the
city at dawn and attack Coalition forces in a desperate attempt to restore supply lines to Nivo. However by nightfall
on the second day, Coalition forces push the Regime forces back into the city. The city walls are breached on the
third day of the battle and Coalition troops enter the city. Upon entering the city, the opponents initially use
standard battle tactics but by mid-afternoon on Day 5, tactics are abandoned and “free-for-all” fighting ensues.
During the twelfth day of the battle, Coalition troops cross the River Jant within the city and enter the garrison
base; Governor A. B. Rekerus sends a message to his father in the Regime capital of Citium Rekerus and then commits
suicide. During Day 14 Cassius Georgius Rekerus, former Regime Provincial Military-Governor of Cardos escapes the
garrison prison only to be captured by the Coalition. By nightfall on the 15th day, the city and the garrison are
taken by the Coalition, thus ending the battle and the siege.
28 Twalifium – As order is being restored in Nivo; Alexandrus with 10 guards beside him, walks
amongst the prisoners and recognizes one of them. Alexandrus meets with the prisoner under heavy guard; learns that
the prisoner is Cassius Georgius Rekerus and learns of his plight after the overthrow of his governorship by the FJM
thirty-one years earlier. Alexandrus releases Cassius Georgius Rekerus, telling him to “disappear, forever”. Cassius
Georgius Rekerus is given a horse and one week’s worth of supplies. He rides off, disappearing from known
civilization at the age of 106.
604 BCE (9 BAF): 7 Ianuarum – The message sent by Governor A. B. Rekerus reaches his father, Brutus Rekerus,
Ruler of the Rekerus Regime. Brutus is so enraged by the loss of the city and his eldest son that he takes personal
command of all Regime forces in Rekeria, the capital regimite of the Regime and begins preparations to march them to
the rebelling Audracal Regimite. He and his Generals spend the remainder of the year planning the invasion of
Audracal. In Audracal, Coalition forces spend the year rooting out the remains of the Regime’s military presence in
the State of Zungzamia. The forces under Alexandrus’ command secure and fortify positions in Nivo and throughout
Zungzamia in preparation of an eventual invasion from the Regime.
Having been in exile for more than seven months, Cassius Georgius Rekerus is injured during a fall
off an embankment. He is found unconscious and is taken in by a young widow and her two young children. After
regaining consciousness C. G. Rekerus has no memory of who he is or where he is from. The widow provides him with a
new name: Argentius Capillus. While living with the widow, he finds work with the village ironsmith. Despite being
older than the usual ironsmith apprentice, Argentius performs the tasks he’s assigned well and discovers that he is
enjoys the hard labor. After spending several weeks with the widow and her children and having a enough money for his
own place, Argentius leaves the widow’s home, continuing his new life in the village.
603 BCE (8 BAF): Fourteen months after the Fall of Nivo, Regime forces, led by Brutus Rekerus, the Ruler of the Regime, invade Audracal/Zungzamia and other rebelling regimites/independent states to restore Regime rule in the rebelling lands. Regime forces get within 30 kilometers of Nivo by the end of the year.
602 BCE (7 BAF): The Coalition Army spends the first three months of the year pushing the Regime back out of
Zungzamia/Audracal. By the end of the year, Coalition forces push all Regime forces completely out of the other
independent states that were attacked and keep them out for the next year and a half.
Once known as Cassius Georgius Rekerus, Argentius Capillus, while working as an ironsmith
apprentice, begins courting the young widow that rescued him.
601 BCE (6 BAF): Having courted the widow for several months, Argentius Capillus asks for her hand in marriage which she accepts and they marry a few weeks later in a modest ceremony. Over the next twelve years Argentius and his wife have seven children. Unfortunately, of the nine children (their seven and the two from his wife’s previous union) only three of their children survive into adulthood; two daughters and one son.
600 BCE (5 BAF): 14 Trebrium – The entire membership of the Government-in-Exile of the State of Zungzamia arrives
in Nivo and over the next several weeks establishes its’ governing authority, becoming the de facto and de jure
government of the country.
29 Pentibrium – Alexandrus celebrates his 100th birthday by leading the Coalition Army into Regime
Regimite of Charidolf.
12 Decimbrium – Having worked the last 15 years on revising and perfecting the previous draft, the
Document Committee presents to the Coalition Governing Council a third draft of the “Constitution of Zungzamia”. At
the presentation the Chairwoman of the Document Committee gives the CGC the very strong impression that if the draft
is rejected the “Committee of 15” will disband in open council and the CGC would have to start the process over.
18-23 Decimbrium – Land and Naval Battle of Durassi: Outnumbered three to one on land, two to one
at sea and taking only moderate casualties, Coalition forces overrun Regime forces in the seaport town of Durassi in
Charidolf Regimite.
599 BCE (4 BAF): 16 Trebrium – After five months of intense debate, an overwhelming majority of CGC delegates; 75 out of 83, sign the third and final draft of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Zungzamia. The signed, approved draft is sent to the law-making bodies of the independent states for ratification as part of the two-step ratification process for the document.
598 BCE (3 BAF): 3-11 Trebrium – Battle of Shi’Took: Outnumbering the Coalition Army 7 to 1, Regime forces led by
the Ruler of the Regime, Brutus Rekerus battle the Coalition led by Alexandrus Cornelius Zungzamius in Shi’Took, the
capital city of Charidolf Regimite. During the first three days of the battle, standard tactics are used however by
Day Four, “free-for-all” fighting within the city occurs. At High Sun on the eighth day, Brutus Rekerus is killed in
hand-to-hand combat with Alexandrus, leading to an immediate end to fighting in the city. Coalition forces allow
Regime forces to withdraw with their ruler’s body, beginning an unofficial ceasefire.
16 Trebrium – Word reaches Citium Rekerus of Brutus’ death and on the same day, Brutus’ youngest
and only living legitimate son, Vincentius Brutus Rekerus assumes the lands and titles of his father, becoming the
sixth ruler of the Rekerus Regime at the age of 35. Vincentius is urged by the generals under his command to continue
the war but he refuses.
20 Trebrium – The body of the slain Ruler, Brutus Rekerus arrives in Citium Rekerus.

of Citium Rekerus.
3 Ocktubrium – The first step of the ratification process for the Constitution of the Federal
Republic of Zungzamia is completed when the law-making body of the State of Norg ratifies the document.
At year’s end, representatives from the Rekerus Regime and the Coalition of Zungzamia, on behalf of
the independent states, meet and begin negotiations for a peace treaty between the adversaries in the city of
Shi’Took, the site of the final battle of the Zungzamian Revolution.
597 BCE (2 BAF): As negotiations continue throughout the year between the Regime and the Coalition, the Coalition Governing Council (CGC) makes legislative preparations for the transition from the Coalition of Zungzamia to the Federal Republic of Zungzamia. These preparations are sent to and approved by the legislatures of the independent states. Among these preparations, the CGC requests the Commander of the Coalition Army, General Alexandrus Cornelius Zungzamius to step down from his post so he can be nominated by the CGC for the office of Guardian of the Republic, chief executive of the Republic’s government as described in the Constitution. General A. C. Zungzamius is stunned by the request but states that he will resign once a peace treaty is signed with Regime.
596 BCE (1 BAF): 12 Febrium – Representatives of the Rekerus Regime and the Coalition of Zungzamia sign the Peace
Treaty of Shi’Took. The treaty not only establishes peace between the two factions, but establishes a new border
between the Regime and the Coalition running right through Shi’Took along with a five kilometer wide neutral zone
with all territory north of the zone belonging to the Regime and everything south of the zone belonging to the
Coalition known as the Shi’Took Neutral Zone.
14 Febrium – General Zungzamius transfers command of the Coalition Army to his second-in-command
and retires from military service.
12 Tetribrium – On behalf of the seven independent states, the Coalition of Zungzamia ratifies the
Peace Treaty of Shi’Took.
30 Senabrium – The Rekerus Regime ratifies the Peace Treaty of Shi’Took. The Regime’s ratification
of the treaty brings a formal end to the Zungzamian Revolution. The ratification of the treaty by all parties
involved completes the second step of the ratification process for the Constitution of the Federal Republic of
Zungzamia.
Over the next several months elections take place throughout the Coalition to elect Members of the
National Congress of the Republic and the Guardian of the Republic as described in the new Constitution. By the end
of the year, the elections determine that most of the delegates to the Coalition’s CGC are elected to the National
Congress and retired General A. C. Zungzamius is elected to the position of Guardian of the Republic without
opposition.
