The inhabitants of these invaded lands are subjugated and enslaved, as the Rekerus Regime establishes the Regimite of Audracal.
789-785 BCE (194-190 BAF): As Rekerus’ army continues to move through more lands south of the River Jant, slave labor is used to construct a military garrison, to house 10,000 troops, near the banks of the River Jant, under the supervision of the local military-governor. Abusive treatment and torture of slaves occurs; becoming commonplace during the garrison’s construction. As the base is constructed by the slaves they also build their own quarters. The slaves share & trade the meager food and supplies provided by their military overlords. Abusive treatment and torture of slaves continues after the outpost’s completion.
784 BCE (189 BAF): Farming is allowed to resume in the region known by the Rekerus Regime as Audracal Regimite however, more than 80% of the harvest goes to the Rekerus Regime’s local military detachment. The revolt results in the “retirement” of the military-governor of the Audracal Regimite. The Ruler of the Regime, Aretus Rekerus appoints a new military-governor. The new governor orders the end of the torture of slaves. He also orders increases in food, clothing and other supplies for the slaves.
750 BCE (155 BAF): The slaves that built the military garrison along the banks of the Jant are granted citizenship and certain “freedoms” within the Audracal Regimite of the Rekerus Regime. The community that was built by the former slaves, now new Regime Citizens is granted a town charter and is allowed to have a town government which overseen by the military-governor. The new citizens name their town Nivo.
715 BCE (120 BAF [200 AR]): The Rekerus Regime celebrates 200 years of existence.
700 BCE (105 BAF): Outside the town of Nivo in the Regimite of Audracal, the wife of a local farmer known as Cornelius Lucius Zungzamius gives birth to their son, naming him Leybegulis Cornelius Zungzamius.
688 BCE (93 BAF): Outside Nivo, Cornelius Lucius Zungzamius, attempting to defend the honor of his daughter, kills a soldier from the military garrison. The governor throws the farmer in prison. However, Aretus Rekerus hears of the soldier’s death and orders the governor to execute the farmer. The governor refuses the order. Rekerus personally executes the farmer, Cornelius Zungzamius, and the governor. The farmer’s land is seized. His wife and daughter are meant to be concubines in the garrison but commit suicide by jumping from the bridge over the River Jant. Cornelius’ 12 year old son, Leybegulis, is forced into the service of Rekerus’ army. Rekerus installs his eldest grandson, the 40 year old Brutus, as military governor of Audracal Regimite.
685 BCE (90 BAF): Aretus Rekerus dies at the age of 125. Aretus’ eldest son, Antonius, assumes the lands and titles of his father, becoming the fourth ruler of the Rekerus Regime at the age of 85.

During the third day of the battle Leybegulis Zungzamius is nearly killed saving his commanding officer and 30 other members of his unit from certain death during the battle in the Kingdom of Cardia. By the end of the battle, more than 7,000 soldiers die and 18,000 are wounded between the opposing armies of the Rekerus Regime and the Kingdom of Cardia. Once recovered from his injuries, Leybegulis Zungzamius is promoted to the enlisted rank of Ta’Gresa and is awarded three medals for gallantry and bravery in the face of the enemy. His commanding officer declares his new given name to be Alexandrus, “Defender of Men”, thus becoming Alexandrus Cornelius Zungzamius.
682 BCE (87 BAF): The military of the Rekerus Regime defeats the Cardian military, forcing the surrender of the Cardian king and his ministers, who are executed. The Regime begins its occupation of Cardia. The unit that Alexandrus serves in becomes the primary Regime military unit in Cardia.
681 BCE (86 BAF): As the Regime continues to establish order in Cardia; former members of the Cardian military create small units to perform hit-and-run attacks on the Regime military. These units become known as the Cardia Raiders.
680 BCE (85 BAF): The Rekerus Regime officially annexes the Kingdom of Cardia into the Regime as the Regimite of Cardos. Despite the hit-and-run attacks of the Cardia Raiders, a civilian Regime government is established however the military commander has the true governmental power.
679 BCE (84 BAF): An attempted assassination on the military governor by the Cardia Raiders occurs. The attempt fails because of the immediate intervention of Alexandrus and others. Alexandrus is injured but recovers quickly. He is awarded several more medals and is given an officer commission with a promotion to the rank of Pa’Taci. He is placed in command of the search and destruction of the Cardia Raiders.
679-674 BCE (84-79 BAF): Alexandrus and the initial military unit under his command meticulously and systematically roots out, captures and/or kills members of the Cardia Raiders as the Raiders continue their attacks, escalating them to civilian targets. Many of the captured are interrogated, tried in military courts and either sentenced to years of hard labor or execution. Alexandrus is promoted to Jarom, gaining more troops under his command during these operations. During 79 BAF, Alexandrus meets and begins courting a local 16 year old maiden known as Veronica Zoe.
673 BCE (78 BAF): As he is promoted to the rank Colonel at the age of 27, Alexandrus marries the now 17 year old maiden, Veronica Zoe, he had been courting the previous year. They settle in the city that the garrison is located, known as Omiris.
670 BCE (75 BAF): The military units under the command of Alexandrus round up the remaining members and leaders of the Cardia Raiders on a raid of their headquarters. During the raid they capture a traitor – Alexandrus’ commanding officer. The traitorous general and other Cardia Raiders leaders are executed without trail. For his actions, Alexandrus is promoted to Jarom General and is given command of the Omiris Garrison in Cardos Regimite. He assures his superiors that he will remain in the military for at least the next five years despite his upcoming release from service in two years. Alexandrus’ first-born child, a son, is born in Omiris and is named Cornelius Alexandrus Zungzamius.
665 BCE (70 BAF [250 AR]): The Rekerus Regime marks its’ 250 years of existence with celebrations taking place throughout the regime. Alexandrus’ first daughter, Constantia Veronica, is born in Omiris. After 23 years in the military of the Rekerus Regime, Alexandrus (Leybegulis) Cornelius Zungzamius retires at the age of 35. During his years of service he has made many friends and allies among the enlisted men and officers within the garrison he served in and commanded.
663 BCE (68 BAF): While living in Omiris, Alexandrus makes many friends in the community and becomes a community leader; voicing the concerns of the civilian population to the military-controlled civilian government of the Cardos Regimite and occasionally to the military-governor, Zingius Quartarius, directly.
660 BCE (65 BAF): Alexandrus learns of the death of a friend of his father’s in Nivo. Despite not seeing this friend for years, he and his family travel to Nivo to provide comfort to the friend’s family. While in Audracal Regimite, on route to Nivo, they are harassed by the military, despite his former military career. While in Nivo, Alexandrus learns of what has been happening in the city and the regimite as a whole over the last 28 years, including citizens being imprisoned, tortured and executed for the slightest offense. Sending his family back to Omiris after a few weeks in Nivo, he begins travelling around the regimite to learn more of what is going on in Audracal.
659 BCE (64 BAF): Interfering in the brutal execution of a citizen, who had insulted a low ranking soldier, Alexandrus is arrested and sent to Nivo. He is tortured and imprisoned without trial on the order of the military governor, Brutus Rekerus.
658-653 BCE (63-58 BAF): While in prison in Nivo, Alexandrus is tortured on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis as his repeated requests to see the governor are denied. He changes his views on the Regime and his loyalty to it. He also conceives his ideas for a new form of government. In Omiris, on behalf of his family, military and civilian friends and allies of Alexandrus head to Audracal to find him. After four years of searching, they find him in the Nivo Garrison prison. In a military style operation, they break him out and quickly return him to his family in Omiris.
652-647 BCE (57-52 BAF): After returning to Omiris and while healing from his physical and mental wounds, Alexandrus spreads word of his mistreatment & torture and that of Regime citizens in Audracal Regimite. He also develops and refines his ideas for a new form of government; representative democracy and, the idea that all Regime citizens are equal under a system of laws that is agreed upon. He initially spreads his ideas amongst his family, friends and allies and hears their thoughts and concerns about his radical ideas. His ideas eventually become public knowledge and spread throughout Omiris and Cardos Regimite, even reaching the ears of the military-governor. The governor, Zingius Quartarius, and Alexandrus discuss the ideas and, over time, the governor is swayed by the ideas of representative democracy and ‘equal justice under the law’.
647-642 BCE (52-47 BAF): Under Alexandrus’ direction, the friends and allies that rescued him travel to Audracal to keep a watchful eye on what is going on in the province and report back. Alexandrus’ ideas of representative democracy and ‘equal justice under the law’ spread beyond the borders of Cardos. An illegal movement, calling itself the “Freedom and Justice Movement” or “FJM”, forms around the ideas and principles developed by Alexandrus Zungzamius, during the year 50 BAF (645 BCE). Quartarius becomes aware of the existence of the FJM and informs Alexandrus of his knowledge but indicates he will turn a blind-eye, if it remains “underground”; Alexandrus assures Quartarius that it will. In late 47 BAF (642 BCE), Alexandrus learns from his allies that the torture and the outright murder of Regime citizens has continued in Audracal and that during their mission, some of his friends were captured, including a close friend of the governor’s. He informs Quartarius, who is angered by the situation. Days later, the governor publicly reinstates Alexandrus’ military officer commission, promotes him to the rank of Lieutenant General and appoints him Deputy Military-Governor of the Regimite of Cardos. Quartarius then travels to Nivo to discuss the situation with Brutus Rekerus, the Audracalian governor. The meeting between the two governors ends poorly and the Zingius Quartarius formally leaves Nivo but sends word to Alexandrus that he and one of his guards are staying to investigate what is going on in Audracal. Antonius Rekerus, ruler of the Regime, is informed of the meeting between the governors and prepares to meet with Brutus in Nivo to discuss the situation.
641 BCE (46 BAF): After spending more than a year in Audracal gathering and sending information to Alexandrus in Omiris, Quartarius and his guard are discovered as they witness a group of citizens being executed in a country village. The Cardosian governor and his guard are captured and later brought before the governor, Brutus Rekerus, and the ruler of the Rekerus Regime, Antonius Rekerus; who was visiting his son Brutus. Directly in front of Quartarius, his guard is executed by Antonius Rekerus. Quartarius is tortured by Brutus under the watchful eye of his father, Antonius. Quartarius is later imprisoned in Nivo.
