2103: Earth Cargo Ship (ECS) Horizon is commissioned.
2112: Jonathan Archer is born to Henry and Sally Archer in upstate New York.
2113: A united government is established on Earth.
2119: The Warp 5 Complex is opened by Zefram Cochrane and Henry Archer. Zefram Cochrane later disappears and is believed dead.
2126: Travis Mayweather, future NX-01 helmsman, is born aboard ECS Horizon.
2129: Future NX-01 Communcations officer Hoshi Sato is born.
Late 2120s/Early 2130s: Earth establishes a space exploration and defense organization called "Starfleet".
2134: Earth scientist Arik Soong steals genetically altered embryos from Cold Station 12. The embryos are from the days of the Eugenics Wars in the late 20th Century. They are "born" after incubation and raised by Soong.
Late 2130s/Early 2140s: Starfleet establishes the NX Project to test warp engine systems developed by the Warp 5 Complex. Test pilot Commander A.G. Robinson reaches Warp 2.2 in the NX-Alpha test ship before the ship was destroyed. A few days later Robinson and Commander Jonathan Archer reach Warp 2.5 in the NX-Beta.
2144: Earth's Starfleet captures the criminal scientist Arik Soong, who refuses to disclose the location of his gentically altered children, also known as Augments.
2149: Travis Mayweather leaves his home, the ECS Horizon, to join Starfleet.
2150: Jonathan Archer is selected by Starfleet to command the first starship capable of Warp 5.
2151: (ENT1) Earth makes first contact with Klingons when one of their species crashes on Earth. Earth's Starfleet launches its' first space vessel capable of Warp 5. Registered as NX-01, the ship bears the name, Enterprise. The vessel is placed under the command of Jonathan Archer, son of Henry Archer, the inventor of the Warp 5 engine. Through Starship Enterprise and its' crew, Earth makes first contact with the Suliban who were pursuing the Klingon that crashed on Earth. Later in the year, first contact is made with the Andorians.
2152: (ENT1) First contact is made with the Tandarans, Kreetassans, Mazarites.
On February 8, Enterprise achieves the designed speed of Warp 5. Enterprise arrives at Paraga 2 to
visit the Paragan colony. As a shuttle pod from Enterprise descends to the surface, the planet's atmosphere is
ignited, leading to the death of 3,600 colonists. With the help of a former, time-traveling, Enterprise
crewmember named Daniels, it is later determined that the Suliban are behind the destruction of the colony. To prevent
the destruction of his ship by the Suliban, Captain Archer decides to surrender, but disappears aboard his ship while
heading to the airlock.
(ENT2) Enterprise is captured by the
Suliban, but later escapes by faking a warp core breach. Captain Archer also returns to the ship. Enterprise
suffers a severe hull breach when it makes contact with cloaked minefield. The minefield belongs to the Romulans,
which a very unfriendly first contact is made. Five days later, Enterprise enters an automated repair
facility, which repairs the damage in about a day and a half. Enterprise transports Vulcan Ambassador Soval to
a small planet that is under dispute between the Vulcans and the Andorians. Captain Archer serves as a mediator for
the initial talks. Late in the year, Captain Archer is placed on trail by the Klingon Empire for interfering in
internal affairs of the empire. He is sentenced to spend the rest of his life at Rura Penthe, but is rescued by his
crew as certain Klingon bureaucrats "looked the other way".
2153: (ENT2) Earth is attacked by probe of unknown origin, suffering 7 million causalties.
Enterprise is recalled by Starfleet. En route to Earth, Enterprise's crew is made aware of the origin
of the attacking probe through the Suliban. After being retrofitted Starfleet sends Enterprise out to the
Delphic Expanse to find the Xindi and prevent a possible second attack on Earth.
(ENT3) With assistance from the
Xindi-Sloth, Xindi-Arboreal and Xindi-Aquatic members of the Xindi council; Captain Archer and the Enterprise
crew successfully prevent the Xindi-Reptilians from destroying Earth, but Archer is believed to have been killed in
the destruction of the Xindi weapon.
2154: (ENT4) Enterprise and Captain Archer unwilling time travel to 1944 Earth and prevent a faction of the Temporal Cold War from returning to the 29th Century, while returning to the mid-22nd Century themselves. Enterprise's crew is regarded as heroes by the people of Earth as Captain Archer is debriefed by Starfleet. T'Pol marries on her native planet Vulcan. Arik Soong and his grown, genetically engineered, children attempt to start a war between the Klingon Empire and Earth. Earth's embassy on Vulcan is bombed.
2156: War begins between Earth and the Romulan Star Empire.
2160: Romulan Wars ended by the Battle of Cheron. The Romulan Neutral Zone is established by subspace treaty.
2161: Earth's first Warp 5 ship, Enterprise NX-01, is retired from service with distinction. Alpha Centauri, Andoria, Earth, Tellar, and Vulcan establish a planentary alliance known as the United Federation of Planets. Earth's Starfleet is integrated with the militaries of the other founding members; establishing the Federation's Starfleet with a charter "to boldly go where no man has gone before".
2162: Former Enterprise communications officer Hoshi Sato develops the linguacode translation matrix.
2165: Sarek of Vulcan is born.
2167: Daedalus Class starship U.S.S. Essex destroyed at Mab-Bu VI.
2169: Serving as Starfleet Command's Chief of Staff, Admiral Jonathan Archer retires from Starfleet and takes up the duties of Federation Ambassador to Andoria.
2175: Reliquishing his status as Ambassador to Andoria, Jonathan Archer begins his service as a member of the Federation Council.
2184: Former Starfleet officer and ambassador, Federation Councilman Jonathan Archer is elected President of the Federation, serving for the next eight years.
2196: Starfleet retires the Daedalus Class starships.
