Originally written in 2018 and uploaded in 2019, this and related pages are an experiment to test a
styling scheme known “pagination” as a way to separate a large amount of content into smaller, yet more
manageable sizes. For this particular test, the pagination code was written in a Cascading Style Sheet or CSS file; which
can be viewed here.
For the test itself, content related to the Missouri Constitution of 1820 from within the
Miscellany section of the Webase is used to implement a pagination scheme. Using the navigation below, the
pages that follow show some of the constitutional articles of the 1820 Constitution in a shorter form due to the
experimental nature of “Test Pages” section of the site. While the complete 1820 Constitution begins
here, links to the text of the individual full pages of the
Constitution are provided on each of the individual “short form” test pages. It must be noted that the
CSS and HTML code for these test pages was made possible by
w3schools.com, which I, as the webmaster, greatly appreciate.
Enjoy.
