   For the fourth installment of the Star Trek film franchise, which was released in 1986, new composer was brought in. Leonard Rosenman's film composing career began in 1955 with the movie adaptation of John Steinbeck's book, East of Eden. Mr. Rosenman would go on to compose the scores for Bombers B-52 (1957), Hell is for Heros (1962), A Man Called Horse (1970), Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973), Bound for Glory (1976), and The Jazz Singer (1980).
