   The seventh film of the franchise, Star Trek: Generations featured members of the original cast and the entire cast of the second, live-action Star Trek television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, was released on November 28, 1994 to much fanfare. The film's was composed and conducted by Dennis McCarthy, a veteran of TNG's production staff.
