Originally written in 2020, this test page was the earliest attempt to embed fonts into external Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) files and have them appear on HTML webpages. Once the appropriate files were uploaded to the webhost's server, the expected result successfully appeared on this page. Despite the successful result a second embedded fonts test page was created one year later, which can be seen here. The principle soure for information related to the CSS code for embedding fonts was found in the online article “ How to Use Embedded Fonts for Your HTML5 and CSS3 Based Web Pages” at dummies.com.
