This webpage was created for testing a CSS Flexbox using code available at W3Schools, which I am immensely grateful. Without w3schools, this and several other test pages would probably not exist. Unlike many pages of the Webase and the InfoBarn, this page uses internal CSS, meaning that the CSS code is written within the html code of this page. In the (near) future, a version of this page using an external CSS file may be created. As this page has been tested prior to it been linked with the main test page, it represents a possible future for the Starship Class Profiles shown in the InfoBarn, however, several aspects of the layout have to be worked on, particularly the positioning of the side column when the page is viewed on a cell phone or tablet. In the meantime, the text below and in the side column are filler, which may be replaced, at least here in the main column, in a future update. Constitution-class starships entered into Starfleet service in the year 2245 as heavy cruisers. These ships were designed with the first duotronic-based computer systems invented by Richard Daystrom two years earlier. Over the next nine decades duotronic-based computers would be used by Starfleet and thoughout the Federation. Ships of this class were also equipped with the latest sensors, propulsion & tactical systems available and could accommodate a crew of 200 at the time. Through advances in technology and design, by the 2260's Constitution-class ships were manned by a crew of 430.
